I love leather jackets, but they take so much work to get right - months of wearing before they reach that soft, battered, lived in look. I have two leather jackets - one brown, one black (both high street) that are showing their age after years of heavy rotation. The brown one rips at any movement now and the black one is pretty much officially light grey. The leather on this New Look one isn't great, but I picked it up in the sale for about £20 a couple of years ago, so what do I expect? Belstaff this ain't. I've started the wearing in process in the hope it will become my new staple come summer.
